Step 1: Diagnostic Scan Before Disassembly

Identify Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) on each vehicle.

Assess which ADAS systems were affected by the accident and which will be impacted during the repair process.

Step 3: Wheel Alignment

Ensure wheels are properly aligned and inspected for damage before performing any calibration.

Step 4: Perform Calibration

Validate ride height, ensure a level floor, correct tire pressure, and maintain the fuel level as specified by OEM.
Complete a precise calibration and conduct a post-calibration final health scan.

After a collision or when something isn't operating properly, your vehicle may require recalibration. Whether it’s misaligned wheels, avoidance collision modules, or any mechanical issues, Vision-Right ensures that every aspect of your vehicle is recalibrated with precision, so you can drive with confidence.

When it comes to calibrating your vehicle, precision is key. Our process requires optimal conditions, including specific tools, open floor space, and exact lighting. Short-range radar

An additional millimeter-wave radar positioned at the front of the vehicle. This technology is commonly used by GM and European automakers, enhancing the coordination between short-range and long-range radar systems. There are four types of millimeter-wave radars.

Long-range radar

A sensor system typically mounted at the front of a vehicle to detect objects at extended distances, often up to 200 meters or more. It plays a crucial role in adaptive cruise control and collision avoidance by providing early detection of vehicles and obstacles in the driving path. This radar works in harmony with other sensors, like short-range radar and cameras, to ensure comprehensive situational awareness and enhance overall safety.

Ultrasonic sensors

often used by Toyota, are technically called Sonar Sensors and serve as parking sensors. However, the type of system can vary by manufacturer. For instance, Azimuth sensors are Ford's version of sonar-based parking sensors, illustrating the variation in technology across brands.

Rear Advanced Breaking

Also referred to as rear collision warning. This feature works in tandem with Blind Spot Monitor (BSM) and park assist to help prevent collisions by automatically stopping the vehicle when necessary.

Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS)

An Advanced Driver-Assistance System (ADAS) refers to technology integrated into vehicles to enhance automatic emergency braking, emergency lane departure avoidance, obstacle awareness, and around view monitoring camera system. ADAS encompasses both safety and adaptive functionalities.
 

Advance driver assistance systems help prevent collisions by either alerting the driver to potential hazards or, in some cases, taking control of the vehicle when necessary.

Adaptive features are designed to enhance driving convenience, including tools like adaptive cruise control, satellite navigation with traffic alerts, park assist, and more.

Collision Avoidance Sensor

Laser systems in modern vehicles are integral to various functions, from precise distance measurement to object detection and automated parking assistance. Misalignment or malfunction in these systems can significantly impair your vehicle's performance and safety.
 

  • Laser System Alignment: We meticulously adjust your vehicle's laser systems to ensure they are correctly aligned, allowing for accurate distance measurement and obstacle detection.

  • Laser Diagnostics: Our diagnostic tools can identify issues within the laser system, enabling us to make precise adjustments and repairs.

Your vehicle’s engine relies on seamless communication between its control modules to perform at peak efficiency. Proper calibration ensures your engine stays compliant with its control systems and operates as intended.
 

  • Throttle Position Sensor (TPS): We ensure that the TPS is accurately calibrated to detect the exact position of the throttle, providing smooth acceleration and optimal engine performance.

  • Engine Control Module (ECM) Programming: We program the ECM to ensure your engine complies with other modules and delivers precise communication between system components.

  • ECU → BCM Communication: Our service guarantees synchronization between the Engine Control Unit (ECU) and Body Control Module (BCM), ensuring flawless interaction between critical engine and vehicle systems.

Your vehicle's braking system is one of its most critical safety components. Accurate calibration of the braking system is essential for ensuring maximum stopping power and vehicle stability.
 

  • Brake System Adjustment: We calibrate your brakes to ensure even and responsive braking performance across all wheels.

  • Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) Calibration: Proper calibration of the ABS is vital for preventing wheel lockup and maintaining control during emergency stops.

  • Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD): We ensure that the EBD system is distributing brake force appropriately based on the vehicle’s load and road conditions.
